Well done for completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, you're on a roll!

Thanks for sharing with us information about your hometown and why it is so special to you. I appreciate that you've given us a nice description to the location of your hometown, too, by saying that it is North of Bombay and South of Auckland.
Wow— your facts are really great and informative, I had no idea that Papakura served a large military population. Thank you for also giving us names of some famous people who are from Papakura, such as Keiran Read, Jerome Kaino and Phil Goff. You're absolutely right, Park Estate School is an awesome place. Have any of these famous people ever been to Park Estate School?
Thank you for also providing the etymology of Papakura and the relevance it has to Māori, in that it originated from Papatūānuku (Earth) and kura (red)— this is a great fact!

Keep up the great work, Jahnera.

    Cheers,

    Jordan

It's great to see you participating in the Summer Learning Journey. Keep it up. You've made the description of your home town really interesting. Did you know that the Papakura Military Camp has new buildings that our SAS are based at?

Keep blogging over the summer. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
